    1:07:30 Why would you do either of these shortcuts? You can just jump down to the other side of the main gate near the beginning (from the nearby stairs) and then go to the end without doing most of the level. I guess that still requires hitting the switch down by the bone wheels, but it's not that hard to go straight to the switch and back. That still seems like it'd be faster than going farther in to use the other two skips.

    25:23 You can also just jump from the staircase leading to the first fog wall. It's a tricky jump though, so I might switch to one of those other methods.

    The most shocking thing I've learned is that there's a whole bunch of enemy-blocking walls, but they still let the clams follow you into Seath's arena.

    That flickering effect that you showed in the beginning is actually called z-fighting by the way! ^w^ it's referencing the z buffer (stores depth values for rendering) essentially it's when two objects being rendered at the same time share the same point in the z-buffer, and the renderer doesn't know which to render on top.

    I heard somewhere that 64 poise is great for colossal swords and other weapon with hyper armor, as attacking after being hit will recover 80% of your poise meter (aka 51 poise) meaning you can tank 2 one handed light attacks in a row. Is this true?

    I'm surprised you never mentioned "Sens gate Skip," which would of made sense since it's not related to invisible walls, but you brought up every single exploit under the sun to skip major chunks of the game even though half of them don't involve invisible walls and even still you mentioned most of the exploits related to the gate skip can be performed anyway.

      It's a little harder than it looks, took me a decent number of tries. But are you running PtDE on PC with DSFix at 60 FPS? I don't know for sure that it'd make it harder, but there's a decent chance it would.

      @@illusorywall no I keep it at the original frame rate, it always crashes if I try to run it at 60 fps with dsfix. I can't get the guy to pop up that high or at all. tried jumping late, jumping early, nowhere near the height at all.

      @@illusorywall oh yeah I asked in the souls speedrun discord, kahmul says it's remastered only. so in the OG game you can't go to the asylum without the elevator and you can't do that ladder thing to clip out of bounds, you have to do some glitch shenanigans to go oob on that ladder. no clue why it's a remastered only thing, but turns out it is and I was going nuts trying to do it for nothing.

      "Debug Menu", you can find it on nexus mods! It requires downpatching the game, but it's a fantastic set of tools.
